Terms of Business

HIRE ME
EMPLOYER TERMS OF BUSINESS AND PLATFORM USE
Effective date: 31 July 2026
These Terms of Business apply to every company, organisation, recruitment team or authorised representative using the Hire Me platform to view candidate profiles, introductory videos, CVs or related information. By registering for, accessing or using the platform, the employer agrees to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Platform

Hire Me is a video-led recruitment platform that enables employers to review candidate introduction videos alongside their CVs and other professional information.
Candidate profiles are provided solely to help genuine employers identify, assess, contact, interview and potentially hire suitable candidates.

2. Recruitment Use Only

Employers may use the platform and candidate information strictly for their own legitimate recruitment and employment purposes.
advertising, marketing or sales;
promoting products or services;
compiling external databases or mailing lists;
competitor research;
social media content;
entertainment, training or any unrelated commercial purpose;
offering unrelated business opportunities, investments or schemes; or
any other purpose not authorised by Hire Me and the candidate.
The employer must have a genuine employment opportunity or legitimate recruitment requirement when accessing or contacting candidates.

3. Candidate Videos and Information

All candidate videos, CVs, photographs, contact details and profile information are confidential and must be treated as personal data.
record, copy, screen-record, photograph, download or reproduce candidate content;
share candidate information with another company, recruitment agency or third party;
post or circulate candidate content through email, messaging applications, social media or any public platform;
alter, edit, manipulate or misrepresent a candidate’s video or profile;
use candidate content to embarrass, ridicule, harass, discriminate against or otherwise harm a candidate; or
retain candidate information for longer than reasonably necessary for the relevant recruitment process.
Where candidate information must be shared internally, it may only be shared with authorised employees directly involved in the relevant recruitment decision and who are required to maintain its confidentiality.

4. Account Security

Each employer is responsible for all activity conducted through its account. Login details must not be shared with unauthorised persons or anyone outside the registered organisation.
Employers must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access and must immediately inform Hire Me if they suspect that an account or candidate information has been compromised.

5. Contacting Candidates

Candidates may only be contacted regarding genuine and appropriate employment opportunities.
Employers must communicate professionally and must not subject candidates to harassment, discrimination, misleading representations, excessive communication or requests for inappropriate personal information.
An employer must not request payment from a candidate as a condition of being considered, interviewed or hired.

6. Interviews and Successful Hires

Employers are requested to inform Hire Me when:
a candidate is invited to an interview;
a candidate progresses significantly through the recruitment process;
an employment offer is made; or
a candidate is hired.
Where a candidate is hired, the employer must notify Hire Me promptly so that the successful placement can be recorded, the candidate’s availability can be updated, and the candidate may be removed or marked as hired on the platform.
This reporting requirement applies whether the candidate is hired directly, through an associated company, through another division of the employer, or after initial contact was made through the Hire Me platform.

7. No Circumvention or Resale

An employer must not resell, sublicense, commercially distribute or provide access to the Hire Me database or candidate information to any third party.
Access is provided only for the internal recruitment needs of the registered employer. It may not be used to operate an external recruitment service or to recruit candidates on behalf of another organisation unless Hire Me has provided prior written approval.

8. Employer Responsibilities

The employer is responsible for:
ensuring its use of candidate information complies with applicable employment, equality, privacy and data-protection laws;
making its own assessment of each candidate’s suitability;
verifying qualifications, references, employment history, identity, immigration status and eligibility to work;
carrying out any appropriate background or compliance checks; and
obtaining any additional candidate consent required for its own recruitment processes.
Employers must make recruitment decisions fairly and must not unlawfully discriminate against candidates.

9. Candidate Information and Availability

Hire Me aims to provide useful and accurate candidate information. However, candidate profiles are created using information supplied by candidates themselves.
Hire Me does not guarantee that all candidate information is complete, accurate or current; that a candidate will remain available or respond; that a candidate will accept an interview or employment offer; or that any particular candidate will be suitable for a role.
Employers remain responsible for their own recruitment decisions and due diligence.

10. Platform Availability

Hire Me may update, change, restrict or temporarily suspend parts of the platform where reasonably required for maintenance, security, legal compliance or operational purposes.
Hire Me does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform or that every candidate profile will remain available at all times.

11. Misuse and Suspension

Hire Me may suspend or terminate an employer’s access immediately where it reasonably believes that the employer or one of its users has misused candidate information, shared or copied candidate content, used the platform for a non-recruitment purpose, provided access to an unauthorised person, contacted candidates inappropriately, breached applicable law, attempted to interfere with platform security or otherwise breached these Terms.
Hire Me may require the employer to delete any candidate information obtained from the platform and confirm in writing that it has done so.
Serious misuse may be reported to the affected candidate, relevant authorities or other appropriate parties where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect candidate rights.

12. Confidentiality After Access Ends

The employer’s confidentiality and data-protection obligations continue after its subscription, account or access to the platform has ended.
Any candidate information retained outside the platform must be securely deleted when it is no longer required for the legitimate recruitment process, unless retention is required by law.

13. Intellectual Property

The Hire Me name, branding, platform, technology, design, database structure and original platform content remain the property of Hire Me or its licensors.
Access to the platform does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property or candidate content to the employer.

14. Limitation of Liability

Hire Me provides a platform connecting candidates with potential employers. Hire Me is not the employer, employee or agent of either party and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, conduct or employment decisions of an employer or candidate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hire Me will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from an employer’s use of the platform, reliance on candidate information, recruitment decision or interaction with a candidate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Changes to These Terms

Hire Me may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, its services, legal requirements or data-protection obligations.
The latest version will be published on the platform. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
